“Putting interaction into action,
and having fun in the process”…. since 2012
We are a private, clinic-based speech pathology service in the heart of Caroline Springs. For over a decade we have been offering services and support for children aged 0-12 years and their families.
We provide neurodiversity-affirming support for all areas of communication and social development, including speech, language, AAC, literacy, fluency, and play skills.
Your child comes first
At Words in Motion, we prioritize building rapport and getting to know your child as a unique individual. We use this relationship as the starting point for providing support.
Neuro-diversity affirming practice
We celebrate all ways of thinking and learning, utilize special interests and cater for children with different sensory needs. We provide support that focuses on self-advocacy to improve quality of life.
Collaborative, family-friendly approach
We combine our communication expertise with your expertise about your child to develop functional and meaningful goals. Acknowledging that demands on families vary significantly, we tailor therapy to reflect capacity.
Experienced, well-resourced team
Being predominantly clinic-based allows us to be very child-led and flexible with our service delivery. Our resource room is floor to ceiling packed with motivating toys and resources to ensure every session is filled with fun
Evidence-based practice
Our whole team regularly review the current research on different therapy approaches and have ongoing access to professional development opportunities. All staff receive weekly individual coaching as well as meeting as a team for continuous improvement
